Plastic Pollution and Circular Economy Governance
We are pleased to announce the inaugural issue of the Journal of Plastic Pollution and Circular Economy Governance, scheduled for publication in November 2026.
The Journal is an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented platform connecting research, policy and practice in addressing plastic pollution and advancing the transition to a circular economy.
With particular interest in Africa and emerging economies, we welcome African, international and comparative perspectives from academics, researchers, policymakers, regulators and professionals across industry, banking and finance, FMCG, telecommunications, technology, oil and gas, ESG and sustainability, waste management, recycling and the wider circular-economy ecosystem.
We are particularly interested in strong contributions that move beyond identifying the plastics challenge to examine regulation, implementation, institutional effectiveness, business and financing models, innovation, technology and practical circular-economy solutions.

Publication Fees
There are no submission fees, article processing charges (APCs) or page fees for the inaugural issue. Our priority is to attract strong scholarly, policy and practitioner contributions and make the inaugural issue widely accessible.

We welcome both scholarly and practitioner contributions. Whether you are an academic researcher, policymaker, regulator, banker, sustainability professional, industry executive, lawyer, engineer, technology specialist, development practitioner or circular-economy entrepreneur, we invite you to bring evidence, experience and fresh thinking to the conversation.
